Betsy Everitt

Painting in gouache on paper, Betsy has enjoyed a successful career illustrating for books, magazines, advertising, packaging, clothing and websites for clients such as Gap, Microsoft, Random House, Target, Yoga Journal and Hallmark. Betsy’s whimsical illustrations have received awards from and publication in annuals including Communication Arts, Society of Illustrators, AIGA, Society of Publication Designers and Creative Club of Boston. In addition, she is also the author of several of the books she has illustrated, notably Mean Soup which received the highly respected Fiera di Bologna Graphics Prize and is a Booklist Editor’s Choice. After living and working in San Francisco, New York and London, she has returned to sunny Santa Barbara where she lives with her husband.
